Personalised social stories about the days that are hard to face: the dentist, the first day at school, the flight, the new baby, and the shape of an ordinary day.
Each book uses your child's own name, their own comfort object, and the names of the people they will actually meet. Each one describes what really happens — including the parts that are not pleasant — because a book that only describes the good parts stops being believed the first time it is wrong.
The books are not on sale yet.
They are written, and they are with readers who work with autistic children. We would rather they said what needed changing before the books are printed than afterwards.
The shop link will appear here when it is open. In the meantime the printable pages are free and need no email address, and if there is a day you are dreading, tell us about it — that is how we decide what to write next.
